My mother

My mother is a great person. I love her very much, as she’s my mom! She really cares about me and she really loves me, too. I know her since I was born, fourteen years ago. We don’t have much in common since we are different ages and she has different thoughts than me. But we agree in some things, too, and we also discuss very much about things that we disagree with each other.
I feel attracted by her because she’s my mom, and I really like to talk to her when we agree about a subject. She thinks life’s really good and good things are always possible to happen. She doesn’t like bad things of life, and she always think things have both good and bad sides, but she emphasizes the good side. She’s always in a good mood. A habit she has that I don’t like is that she talks alone. Everybody talks alone, but she talks as if she were talking to another person, as if there was somebody there talking to her, and that’s really annoying. When we are in the car, she even “talks to the steering wheel” when we are in the car, because she thinks about what she has to do and then she keeps talking about this because she can’t forget. She conversates well, and because she’s a psychologist she really must talk to people on how they must solve their problems, so she is really careful about the way she talks. She talks the necessary, and when she’s giving an advice, she gives it really well. I really think that she’s a very good conversationalist.
We also have many disagreements. Usually, she has a point of view and I have another, so we keep talking until the other notices that his or her point of view is wrong, but we never get to this, so we keep discussing and we disagree with each other, so we get stressed and then she sleeps. Most of the times this happens, because I believe that I’m right and she believes she’s right, so we hardly ever get to an agreement. I don’t know what she likes to talk about with me, but I like to talk about technology with her, as there isn’t anybody I know who knows a lot about technology just as I do me, so I like to talk to her about this and help her when she has a doubt. She has taught me to walk and to speak, and to be the person I am today. And she taught me the good values I must have with the world and with people. My mother always helps me in work at school. Difficult works that need to be very well done. She really helps me on these, and I always get the maximum grade when I have her help in my works.
I think I’m her friend mainly because she’s my mom and I love her, and because she teaches me how to be a good person, how to live my life and without her I wouldn’t exist. I love her very much and I think she really contributes to the person I am now.

  1. It sooo nice when you are remembered by your teenage son! You should show her this blog. And if she speaks English, she could comment, too! How about that?
